About the Foundation
Aims of the Foundation
 

The Swiss Foundation for Excellence and Talent in Biomedical Research was founded in 2008 and is headquartered in Basel, Switzerland. The aim of the Foundation is to support excellent research in the biomedical field and to strengthen the attractiveness of Swiss research institutes in this field for young and talented research workers.
The Foundation achieves its aims by awarding stipendia to post-doctoral candidates from anywhere in the world who wish to establish close contacts with Swiss research institutes. The stipendia are awarded to support lecture tours at Swiss universities and other biomedical research institutes.
The Foundation awards stipendia four times a year.
